Our House

Here is our new home. It's a wonderful 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom home with a huge bonus room above the garage. It needs some love as you'll see in all coming pictures, but hopefully with our love it will soon all come together into something perfect.

This is our entry way. Beautiful hardwood floors and a great banister...However, the paint color is not the greatest. It looks more like Robin's Egg Blue here, but it's really more like Mint Green.

This is the living room. It's nothing too exciting,
except for the lovely Mauve paint color...

Our formal dining room with a wonderful tray ceiling
 (Oh the possibilities!!) There is even an arched
doorway off the hallway, which I love!
Luckily, the previous owners primed this room
before they left. 

Our large eat-in kitchen. The photo only shows about half
 the kitchen, so I'm very excited to put a large
farmhouse table in there. Again, you can see the
lovely Mauve wall color...

This is the family room off the kitchen. It's a nice sized room, but
can you see the trend? Another Mint Green room.
(Seriously, was there a special on this color or something??)

This is the half bath on the main floor. More blue paint, and the real icing on the cake is the vinyl flooring with seashells on it.  (Why do people always think it's a good idea to do beach themed bathrooms??)  The photo below is of the main floor laundry room. It's super small, but it will obviously serve its purpose, but again there is more seashell vinyl flooring...

  

These two photos are of the Bonus Room above the garage. As you can see, it's a wonderful combination of Maroon Red and Pepto-Bismal Pink on the walls. (I wonder how many gallons of Kilz it will take to cover up those pretty colors??) This is where josh wants to set up his theater (In the far future, I might add...)

This is the guest bathroom on the second floor. The color isn't completely atrocious, but it's just kind of icky. And I definitely want to take a sludge hammer to the medicine cabinet above the vanity...

These are 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The one on the left will be the guest room.
The Mint Green Room (yes, there it is again) will also be a guest room. And the last one will be my sewing room and office. (Yay! I finally have a place to set up my sewing machine!!)

The master bedroom. It's a weird Blue Gray color, but some paint will fix it.

It a great size so we'll have plenty of room, and a huge walk in closet, which

                is my favorite!! I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

This is our master bathroom. It's not too exciting, but 

hopefully after some work it will be wonderful. 

(Yes, we will be getting a much better vanity rather than 

tons of empty space under the counter)
